What I've been working on

I recently heard about a Kit Club geared just for boys on Two Peas and had to check it out. As a Boy Momma it's hard to find good boy themed papers and even harder to find a kit club that's not geared toward the feminine products. Boys Rule has filled that gap and boy am I happy. I started a subscription last month and managed to snag a few of their older kits as well. Let's just say...HEAVEN! The kits are fab and so full of boyish scrappy goodness. They've also recently started sketches this past month so I decided to play along. The first two layouts are based off their sketches. The third layout is just me playing around. All the pages are made with Boys Rule kits.

A funny thing happened on the way to my Scrap Cave...

Well not really...life just got in the way :) My oldest son started preschool (which I ended up doing a lot of volunteering) and I just spent time enjoying my little guys. This time passes so fast I'm realizing. We're now looking at schools for Gigantor (Oldest's nickname) to start kindergarten and wondering how we're going to fit that into a preschool schedule for Wee One (Youngest's nickname) as both schools would start at the same time. Not important problems in the grand scheme of things...but important in my world right now.

Anyways...I PROMISE to start blogging on a regular basis!

Wall Art

Here's a home decor idea for everyone. I made this for my Mother In Law for her birthday using the 7 gypsies printer tray. I've been wanting to make one of these for a while and finally got the chance. Now I think I need one for myself :D

A little more inspiration

Here's a layout done with the same CTMH Stardust paper pack as the previous layout for my youngest son. I got the idea for these super cute paper medallions from one of the girls over at Two Peas and I'm just loving them. I can totally see myself using these on all kinds of layouts and cards!!!

A little Inspiration

Here's a recent layout I did using the Stardust paper pack from CTMH. I wanted something playful and fun to commemorate my oldest turning three so I decided to make some pinwheels as my embellishments. I really like how this turned out!

A few more fun ideas from my BPS class :)

A few more neat ideas that I've gotten from my BPS class. The green one is using tissue paper and mod podge to create an awesome textured look to your paper. The other one is another mosaic but using kitchen twine in between your pieces. I think it would make a fabulous frame for your pictures, especially if you use just one photo on a layout.

Cheers! :D
